ABOUT ME

MY PHILOSOPHY

Buying or re-financing a home is the single largest financial transaction and decision most people make in their lifetime. I am honored to be a part of that process for each and every one of my clients. It can be a big step for most even if this is not their first transaction, I take a client centric approach to simplify and tailor this for every individual client and their home financing needs.

I believe that this process is one of building personal relationships and I educate with full transparency throughout the process. The way I operate my business is with ethics and honesty, the way it should be done, to the point that even if I do not do a loan for a client they typically will refer me to friends and family. I am not here to make a sale, I do honest work giving the lowest financing options available earning clients trust wether it is on their current transaction needs or future ones.

MY STORY

I grew up on a farm in the mid-west, learning a hard work ethic at the age of 14 earning what few dollars our neighbors could spend paying me to work their farms doing any work needed from walking the fields tossing hay bails to helping build fences and the hard work that comes from working the land.  I was raised in a community prided in doing the right thing for your neighbors and friends, giving in times of need and giving without a second thought.  I moved to North Tustin, CA in 2006 and have called it my home since, liking the country feel of my new home town eventually buying a home and becoming a part of the community.

I started in the mortgage industry in 2006 at the height of the boom and in the middle of an industry known at that time for some not quite ethical actions.  I pride myself in the fact that in this time, I operated honestly and ethically not trying to make a sale or earn money at the expense of my clients personal well being.  The crash hit most hard and during that time I chose to go back to college earning my degree in Philosophy with an emphasis on ethics, logic and eastern religion while staying in banking at the branch level, leaving home finance for those few years.  At the crossroads of deciding to pursue my PhD in Philosophy for teaching I made the decision to follow my passion back into finance and home lending where I have used it for my platform to teach and educate homeowners from my years of finance experience and background in philosophy to devote myself to a better lending experience for my clients as it should be.
